SERVICE ANIMAL

Federal Law defines a Service Animal as a animal that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person's disability.

YOU ARE ALLOWED UNDER LAW TO TRAIN YOUR OWN ANIMAL. ANIMAL MUST BE A DOG OR MINITURE HORSE AS DEFINED BY THE ADA 2010 REVISED.

Service Animals CANNOT cause distractions, disruptions, property damage, etc. and must be housebroken. The must also always be under the control of their Handler unless it directly prevents the animal from preforming its task.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMAL (ESA)

Federal Law defines an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) as a "PET" that provides therapeutic benefits to a person with a mental health or psychiatric disability. ESAs can offer comfort, companionship, and emotional support to help alleviate symptoms of a disability.

NO SPECIFIC TRAINING IS REQUIRED OTHER THEN BEING HOUSEBROKEN & OBEDIENCE TRAINING. THERE ARE NO BREED OR ANIMAL TYPE RESTRICTIONS AND YOU ARE ALLOWED TO TRAIN YOUR ANIMAL.
